Genie SLA Material Lift Training Course

Course Overview

This course provides basic instruction in the correct operation of the Genie SLA 5, 10, 15, 20 & 25 for both novice and experienced operators. Training is approximately 50% practical and 50% theory. The course provides training as referred to in the laws relating to health and safety and work equipment, enabling employers and employees to fulfil their legal obligations.

• Employer’s and employee’s legal responsibilities
• Hazards & Risks
• Pre-use inspection exercise
• Basic maintenance
• Specifications of different types machines
• Operational techniques
• PPE
• Practical exercise
• Manufacturers Instructions and data

Candidates will take a short written test, and receive a course handout summarising the topics covered. Successful candidates will receive a certificate of competence and photo ID card. £115.00 plus VAT per person for this half day course.
