IPAF MEWPS For Managers Training Course

Course Overview

The course is suitable for anyone who is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of MEWPS in connection with their work. Examples would be employers, project managers, foremen and supervisors working in a broad range of industries such as construction, facilities management, retail, airports and arboriculture. Companies that use MEWPS need to know what their management and legal responsibilities are. The course covers what managers need to know about the safe use of MEWPS on site, from planning the job and conducting a risk assessment to selecting the right equipment and mitigating all risks. The course does not incorporate practical training.

Candidates will take a written test and successful candidates will receive an IPAF certificate. Those who already hold a valid IPAF Powered Access Licence will have the IPAF MEWPS for Managers (MM) category added to their licence. £195.00 plus VAT per person for a one day course.
