Ladder Inspection Course

Course Overview

This course is for people who need to carry out periodic inspections of ladders, stepladders and combination ladders. Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations it is a requirement that these inspections are carried out by a Competent Person on a regular basis (3, 6 or 12 months). After completing this Ladder Association accredited course you will be competent to undertake these inspections. Please note that this course can only be undertaken by candidates who have already completed the Ladder Association Ladder and Steps training course and this course is usually run immediately after the Ladder & Steps training course, on the same day.

It is a requirement that candidates for this course have completed the Ladder Association Ladder and Steps training course, and it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of work at height issues

A Ladder Association Certificate and Photo Card, which is valid for a period of five years, will be issued to successful delegates who complete the Theory and Assessment sessions. A current Code of Practice booklet will also be issued to all delegates who attend the course. £115.00 plus VAT per person for a half day course.
