Basic Fire Safety for Care Homes
Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff.
Our online fire safety training course is aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace with additional content tailored specifically for employees that work in care homes.
• 5 modules with questions at the end
• Chemistry of fire
• Common causes of fire
• Basic safety features in buildings
• Introduction to Fire Extinguishers
• What to do in cases of fire?
The course is split into modules, which can either be completed in one sitting, or saved and the course will recommence once the user returns. The suggested duration for this course is 1 hour however; this does not take into account thinking time for questions. You are given the chance to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and each module requires a pass rate of 70%. On successful completion, a certificate of training is automatically generated. £25.00 plus VAT per candidate.
