Fire Marshall Course

Course Overview

This course is aimed at designated Fire Marshalls or Fire Wardens. It is a legal obligation that workplaces must have a sufficient number of fire wardens to deal with fire emergencies.
This course provides extensive knowledge of fire prevention, evacuation protocol and using fire extinguishers.

Course Content:
16 modules, with questions at the end, including:
Chemistry of fire
Common causes of fire
Basic safety features in buildings
Introduction to Fire Extinguishers
What to do in cases of fire?
Current Fire Legislations
Fire Risk Assessment
Preventative Measures
Role of the Fire Marshall / Warden
Fire Drills and Evacuations
Using a Fire Extinguisher

The course is split into modules, which can either be completed in one sitting, or saved and the course will recommence once the user returns.  The suggested duration for this course is 4 hours however; this does not take into account thinking time for questions. You are given the chance to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and each module requires a pass rate of 70%. On successful completion, a certificate of training is automatically generated. £35.00 plus VAT per candidate.
